Open-source performance & stress testing for your FHIR server for server developers.

Stay in control

As server developers, we want to make sure our software stays fast, one release after another. This is why we at Firely created a performance measurement framework to see how our Vonk measures up one release after another.

Having talked to other server developers at DevDays 2018, there was considerable interest in getting this open-sourced so others can make use of this – so here it is!

Beta release

This is the first release to gauge the community interest and we’d love to hear your feedback on it. For feedback and known issues, see here.

This tool is intended for server developers developers only; note that test results are not not valid for comparing servers under test due to the different hardware tests are run on. This tool is for making sure that given the hardware you run the tests on, your software stays performant one release after another.

Features include:

  • Measure test-after-test performance
  • Drill down into:
    • individual GET, POST, and DELETE performance
    • 1, 20, and 40 users
  • Quickly assess the overall picture using percentile line & flamegraph
